Lavender Roses

Lavender roses are quite rare when compared to the more common red, pink and yellow varieties of the flower. Historically, lavender roses have been used to symbolize love at first sight and enchantment with another person. Because they are purple, they also often stand for royalty.

The eye-catching shades of light purple have made the lavender rose a wildly popular alternative for romantic occasions. The lavender rose is often a sign of enchantment and love at first sight. Few other flowers can match the beauty of these fascinating roses.

Lavender roses also share some of the symbolism of the fabled blue rose. Because blue roses do not occur naturally, they have come to represent the mysterious and unattainable. The goal of discovering the first blue rose has ignited many imaginations.
